On Tuesday 4th July, 9 children from Reception attended the EYFS tennis festival at Taverham High School. This was organised by the sports partnership and the session was led by the sports leaders from Taverham High School.
Over the morning, the children rotated around a series of activities that were all based around multi and tennis skills. The children had the opportunity to practise throwing, catching and racket skills. Their favourite activity involved them working in partners and sending the ball along the floor to the other person using the racket.
The children demonstrated some amazing tennis skills, athleticism and team work. They were complimented on their brilliant listening skills and they all represented our school very well.
