Black History Month 2021

During October we are celebrating Black History Month within the Federation. This week both the Infant and Junior children received an assembly to start our activities for the month. Many of the resources we will be using have been recommended by the Norfolk Inclusion Adviser for Culture and Curriculum and we will be focusing on the theme ‘Proud to be’.

Over the next three weeks we will be learning about some of the amazing people and events that have shaped our history. We will be reading and listening to some inspirational stories, poetry and taking part in music and dance activities in our classrooms.

If you would like to get involved or support your children at home there are lots events taking place around the county. Please see the link below.
