As part of our Easter week, Year 2 made Easter Bunny cupcakes. We made the mixture as a class, and then decorated our own individual cake to take home. Here is the recipe so you can try it too!
To make the cupcakes: (This mixture makes 12)
100g flour
100g sugar
100g butter
2 eggs
Method:
Cream the butter and the sugar together until
light and fluffy.
Add the eggs and mix until smooth.
Sieve the flour into the mixture and stir.
Spoon into cupcake cases.
Place in the oven at 190 degrees for 15 minutes.
For the decorations:
1 marshmallow
Sprinkles
Larger sprinkles for the nose
Icing pen
Water icing
