To celebrate the King’s Coronation, Year 5 made a Lemon Drizzle cupcake. They worked collaboratively to make the cakes, focusing on measuring, whisking, zesting and squeezing. After baking the cake, the groups made a sugary lemon drizzle. Most of the children loved the cake and thought it was sweet and zingy! The children finished their cupcake by adding a personalised flag for decorative purposes.
