A Healthy Smoothie

As part of topic work this half term Year 2 have been looking at how to keep healthy and what makes a balanced meal. The children have designed their own balanced meal and sorted foods into food groups, they also made their own healthy berry smoothies.

You could try to make the smoothie too. You could add other fruits to create a unique version!

As part of Book Week ‘Animals,’ Year 2 made Gruffalo Crumble. We touched and smelt the vegetables and helped to put the vegetables into the bowl. We waited for it to cool down before we ate it and the teachers were so impressed with how many children tried it and enjoyed it!
