Infant School

The OFSTED report for the Infant School was published in January 2024. I am beyond proud to work with such a group of staff and Governors across the two schools who are so committed to the children in our schools and ensuring they have the best education and care possible .It reads exceptionally well and there are key areas for all of us to be pleased with, including:

  • We are an inclusive school
  • The children feel safe
  • Pupils work hard, enjoy learning and attend well
  • Children settle quickly when they join the early years.  In early years children make an excellent start. They make strong progress and learn well.
  • Pupils learn to read straightaway
  • We establish warm and trusting relationships with the children
  • The curriculum is good
  • Provision for SEN is effective
  • Pupils have support so they have every opportunity to be successful
  • Children are supported
  • Calm and orderly environment with clear routines and high expectations
  • Staff feel well supported by the school

The whole report reflects the ethos of our school, and to see such phrases written is a real pleasure. Please do read it in its entirety as it reflects the excellent care and education our children receive, from the very first day they join us.

Thankyou to all of the staff, Governors and parents/carers for that ongoing commitment to the children and to each other and to the schools. It is truly a whole federation success to celebrate and I am so pleased that all of the hard work and dedication has been noticed. Thank you also to the children, whose hard work and positive attitude towards learning has also been recognised.
