Our topic for the half term was ‘Roots, shoots and muddy boots.’ We planted carrot and pumpkin seeds. We have been watering our seeds and plants and observing the changes over time.
We have been looking after our fairy garden and making new items for them. The fairies have been writing us letters and we have written back to them.
We looked at the journey of bread, using the story The Little Red Hen. We made our own flour and bread.
The children have been painting sunflowers in pairs. They used bubble wrap and forks to create the flower heads.
